    A strange skip

    As the title says..

It only happens when it rains but as I'm going down the road my car will have a sudden skip that is very noticeable.

Again it only happens when it rains. I am very stump by it. Does anyone know what would cause this??

Well, seems like you narrowed it down to a misfire when wet issue. Spray(mist spray, not garden hose) some water (in the dark) on the engine, coil and area, wires, and see where the spark is coming from. Probably just a wire, but could be the coil pack. You'll be able to see it on the coil or wires, but may be less visible down by the plugs. I doubt it would be a low voltage wire problem if it only happens in the rain.

Definitely sounds like an electrical/ignition issue.

Is your coil pack original? I did every test there is (except an oscilloscope) on my coil pack. All the tests showed that it was good. Intuition said it was bad. I replaced it on a whim and it cured my misfires. That was at ~75-80K.

    Do you have a CEL?
